Korean boy band 2PM has released their new single album "Don't Stop Can't Stop" in digital format today, according to a press release by agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) on Monday. JYPE explained that the six-member group has unveiled their third single album containing a total of six tracks, ahead of the record's hard copy going on sale Thursday. "Through this single, fans will be able to see that 2PM members and their music have matured," an official at JYPE was quoted as saying. "We ask for your great anticipation and attention." Song "Stop" sings of the difficult times 2PM has gone through and their will to overcome such times from the love and support of their fans. Title track "Without U" shows how a man gets back on his feet after being betrayed by the woman he loves. 2PM originally debuted as a seven-member band in September 2008 and quickly became one of the hottest idol groups in Korea with hits such as "10 Points Out of 10 Points" and "Again & Again". The group made headlines last September when it was revealed that former leader Park Jae-beom had written several controversial remarks -- including "I hate Korea" -- on his MySpace pages before his debut. It sparked instant outrage in the country, leading to Park quitting the band and leaving Korea four days after his comments became public. With fans pleading for his return, Park was expected to be reinstated into the group and come back to the local music scene this year. However, agency JYPE announced last February that it would terminate its exclusive contract with the singer due to "a huge personal wrongdoing" on his part. The remaining members -- Junsu, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung -- made a successful comeback as a six-man band, releasing their first full-length album "1:59 PM" in November and branching out to various solo activities as well.

Korean boy band 2PM has conquered several online music charts with their latest single "Without U." "Without U," the title track from the boys' third single album unveiled Monday, has topped the daily charts of six major online music service providers including Melon, Dosirak, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada and Monkey 3. The song, about a man's pain from being betrayed by the woman he loves, has also maintained the top position on real-time charts as well. 2PM will give their first performance for the new tune April 22 on Mnet's televised music program "Mnet Countdown." The six-member group has fared well despite former leader Park Jae-beom's absence from the group since September last year, topping music charts with their first full-length record "1:59PM" released two months later. Park had quit the band after stirring nationwide controversy over comments he had made on his MySpace account before his debut and was expected to rejoin the group earlier this year but officially parted with JYPE for good in February over "a huge personal wrongdoing."

K-pop idols 2PM knocked out Lee Hyori off the No. 1 spot of cable music channel Mnet's singles chart with their latest single "Without U." The boy band took the reins on the chart with their title track from their single album “Don’t Stop Can’t Stop,” to claim the title as the most-popular single for the week of April 19 to 25. The group had given comeback stage performances of "Without U" and "Don't Stop Can't Stop" on Mnet's televised music program "M! Countdown" last week. Trio Monday Kiz's recent tune "Scatter" entered the chart behind the boys to take the No. 2 position, while Korean queen of pop Lee Hyori's "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" fell by two notches to rank in third. Lee however, maintained her grip on the albums chart last week, scoring her second consecutive win with her fourth record titled "H. Logic." 2PM's "Don't Stop Can't Stop" and Monday Kiz's "New Sentimental" followed successively to round out the top three slots.

Korean idol group 2PM stormed to the top of Gaon's singles chart to claim the title as the most popular single for the week of April 18 to 24 with their new track "Without U." According to Gaon's singles chart on Thursday, 2PM scored their first win with their new tune knocking out Lee Hyori from first place. The boys are currently enjoying their return to the local music scene with their latest song, taking over several online and offline music charts including Monkey 3, Dosirak and Mnet. "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" by songstress Lee Hyori fell down a notch from the previous week to rank in second and recently released song "Scatter" by trio Monday Kiz successfully bowed into the chart at No .3. Meanwhile, 2PM’s third single album “Don’t Stop Can’t Stop,” which went on sale last Monday, was crowned the best-selling album for the fourth week of April. Girls' Generation's first album "Into the New World" made an astonishing 92-spot jump to No. 2, followed sequentially by Kara's second mini-album "Honey Special Edition" which dropped a slot from last week.

Korean boy bands 2PM and Super Junior ranked number one on televised music shows over the weekend. 2PM claimed their second consecutive Mutizen award on SBS’ Sunday music program “Inkigayo” with their single “Without U” while giving out the top spot on KBS’ Friday live show “Music Bank” to Super Junior who recently made a comeback with a new song titled “BONAMANA”. The groups were up against other singers such as Rain, Davichi and Gummy on both shows. For their performance on Inkigayo, six-man band 2PM was one member short due to their main vocalist Junsu recovering from a knee injury. They have been enjoying a successful comeback to the local music scene however, with the song from their latest album "Don't Stop Can't Stop" which has topped cable music channel Mnet's "M! CountDown" for three weeks straight and "Music Bank" for two weeks in a row. Super Junior, back with their fourth album "BONAMANA" released May 13, sold over one hundred thousand copies of the new record in just eight days of its release.
