According to the data released on Monday, the pop sensation remained at the same position as last week, claiming their second consecutive win on the chart issued by the cable music channel. The quintet had made a successful comeback to the local music scene after the global release of their new album May 16 and promoted it through appearances on various entertainment shows such as "Family Outing Season 2," "1 Night 2 Days" and other televised music programs. CNBLUE's new song "LOVE" made a three-spot jump to second place and new single "HUH" by girl group 4minute climbed one slot to round out the top three singles. According to the data released on Thursday, the female idol group held onto the No. 1 spot, scoring their second consecutive win on the chart. The girls have been promoting the new record “2 Different Tears” in Korea, topping various music charts with their title track of the same name. They left the country on Tuesday to begin their solo tour in 20 cities in the United States starting June 4. Making an incredible 20-spot jump from the previous week to No. 2 is the new tune "Love" by rock quartet CNBLUE and rounding out the top three singles is "HUH" by girl group 4minute. Meanwhile, Veteran singer Lee Seung-hwan's 10th album "Dreamizer" successfully bowed into the No. 1 position on Gaon's albums chart. Korean pop sensation Wonder Girls, who are currently on tour in North America, have taken a brief visit to Asia to promote a new advertisement and album, according to their agency JYP Entertainment on Friday. "The girls are in Singapore at the moment to promote their new advertisement for Sony Ericsson and to perform at their music showcase today," a representative told Asia Economic Daily over the phone. She added that they will be in the country until next Tuesday and then fly to Indonesia to promote their newest album “2 Different Tears.” “They will be returning to North America after their visit to Indonesia to continue on with their first solo tour titled ‘Wonder World Tour’ until the end of July.” Wonder Girls, one of the most successful Korean idol bands, recently made a successful comeback to the Korean music scene with their latest global album "2 Different Tears" which has topped numerous online and offline music charts since it release in May. For the week of July 21, "2DT," the title single from the band's second studio album of the same name, came in at No.21 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart, which ranks top-selling albums released by new or developing artists. The members appeared ecstatic over the latest chart entry, their first since placing the U.S. debut single "Nobody" at No.76 on Billboard Hot100 last October. Wonder Girls are the first and only Korean artists in history to enter the prestigious pop music chart. Member Yenny posted a comment on her Twitter page, saying "We reached No.21 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.. Thank you so much for loving our songs and supporting us." Wonder Girls -- originally composed of Sohee, Yubin, Sun, Yenny and Mimi -- debuted in Korea in 2007 and quickly became one of the most successful pop groups in the country with three consecutive No. 1 singles, "Tell Me", "So Hot", and "Nobody". At the height of their popularity in Korea, the girls relocated to the U.S. with producer Park Jin-young to break into the American pop market and began working as a virtually unknown pop group from Asia.
